Base Camp

Situated on an idyllic beach of silver white sand along the forested banks of the Ganga river, 28 kms upriver from the town of Rishikesh, in the Garhwal Himalaya. We set up a semi permanent tented camp for the duration of the rafting season on the Ganga & Alaknanda rivers.


The 'Quick Get Away' trips are based out of here and the multi day expedition trips On the Alaknanda & Bhagirathi dock in here for the Ganga section of the river. Accommodation consists of large, twin share, safari style tents. Open parachute tents for dining and recreation. Toilet tents are equipped with dry toilet facilities, western style, clean and hygienic. There is also a bathing tent and a shower stall with running hot and cold water .

For entertainment in camp there are beach games of volley ball, frisbee, even baseball if you like swimming, kayaking. Nature walks, birdwatching or just meditating. Evenings are spent star gazing and singing around a campfire.The food is a blend of Indian and Western, and a lot of care goes into providing the best.
